Comenius Projects
Durante los bienios 2009 / 2011 y 2013 /2015, nuestro participó en sendos Programas Escolares Multilaterales COMENIUS, con centros del Reino Unido, República Checa, Dinamarca, Alemania y Hungría, recibiendo en 2011 la catalogación de Centro COMENIUS. Desde 2014 el programa COMENIUS ha quedado englobado dentro de las acciones KA1 y KA2 del programa ERASMUS +.
El programa COMENIUS tenía por objeto reforzar la dimensión europea en la educación infantil, primaria y secundaria y favorecer especialmente la movilidad del alumnado, el profesorado y la cooperación entre los centros educativos.
Sus acciones se centraban en el fomento del aprendizaje y la compresión entre los jóvenes y el personal docente de la diversidad de las culturas e idiomas europeos y su valor. Además, ayudaba a los jóvenes a adquirir las aptitudes y competencias básicas que necesitaban para alcanzar su desarrollo personal.

The impact of personal food, drink and lifestyle choices on personal
health, social issues and cultural identity, the environment, global economy and the distribution of wealth.

Comenius project 2013-2015
Durante el bienio 2013-2015 nuestro centro participó como centro coordinador en una Asociación Escolar Multilateral Comenius junto a los centros “Dronninglund Gymnasium” de Dronninglund (Dinamarca), “St. James School” de Exeter (Reino Unido) , "Tamási Áron Általános Iskola és Német Két Tannyelvû Nemzetiségi Gimnázium" de Budapest (Hungría) y “Carl-Friedrich-von-Siemens-Oberschule- Gymnasium” de Berlín (Alemania).
El título de dicha asociación es “Yes, you can! – How to become a responsible and active European citizen”, en el que los alumnos/as de los cinco países trabajarán y compartirán experiencias sobre cómo se puede ejercer la democracia desde los distintos niveles de la sociedad para así crecer como ciudadanos europeos activos y responsables, utilizando el inglés como lengua de trabajo.
Comenius project 2013-15: Yes we can. How to become responsible European citizens
The aim of this Comenius project is to make students understand how democracy works on different levels in society and enable them to take an active and innovative part in decision-making in order to make them realise that they can make a difference and that their voice can be heard. The overall goal is to support the development of a generation of young people who feel that they are vital and integrated members of not only their own countries but also of the European Union and the rest of the world.
