Programa de Hermanamiento con centros europeos
Nuestro Instituto, en el afán de mantener su larga tradición de relaciones con centros educativos de otros países, está hermanado con otros Centros educativos europeos: el “Prince Henry’s Grammar School” de Otley/Leeds y “St. James School” de Exeter (Reino Unido), el “Dronninglund Gymnasium” de Dronninglund (Dinamarca).
Gracias a ello, nuestro alumnado tiene la posibilidad de conocer a alumnos/as de otros países a través de un espacio web de intercambio y a través de las visitas que se realizarán durante el curso y que les permitirá practicar el inglés.

Twinning programmes
El pasado mes de octubre recibimos nuevamente la visita a nuestro centro de los alumnos y profesores del Prince Henry’s, así como a dos profesoras del centro alemán, quienes nos escogieron para realizar una visita de una semana para poder observar in situ el sistema de enseñanza bilingüe que desarrollamos en el centro.
Durante este curso también hemos recibido ya la visita de varios profesores/as del “Istituto comprensivo” de Mori, (Italia) con quienes tambien estamos desarrollando este tipo de actividades conjuntamente con otros tres centros de Córdoba y que culminará con la visita que alumnado y profesorado de dicho centro realizarán al centro a finales de marzo de 2017.
Our school has a long tradition of relationships with institutions from all over Europe. Apart from the close links we have with “Prince Henry’s Grammar School” from Otley (United Kingdom), “Dronninglund Gymnasium” from Dronninglund (Denmark) or “Carl-Friedrich-von-Siemens Gymnasium” from Berlin (Germany), our school is taking part this year in another project, together with other three secondary schools in Córdoba, with “Istituto comprensivo” from Mori (Italy), which will conclude with a visit to our school in late March 2017.
Thanks to all these activities, our students and teachers get the opportunity to meet and share experiences, either physically or virtually, with colleagues and students from all over Europe.
This year, so far, we have already hosted the Italian and German teachers, who were quite interested in getting to know how we carry out our bilingual teaching programme and the students and teachers from Prince Henry’s Grammar School.
